About the event

Kambo (a.k.a Sapo) is a warrior medicine.

This sacred Amazonian medicine comes from the phyllomedusa bicolor frog a.k.a the giant monkey frog. It works on all levels (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) to detox and clear and also to bring homeostasis and balance to your body and energy centres. Kambo has been known to help and heal the following ailments:

  • depression & anxiety
  • PTSD
  • auto-immune disorders
  • blood circulation problems
  • addictions
  • chronic pain
  • infections
  • fertility issues

It is administered through superficial burns or gates that allow the medicine to enter the lymphatic system. You'll feel the medicine traveling through your body, intelligently collecting toxins and energies that are ready to be purged. During this time you'll feel flushed, your heart rate will increase, and you may also feel nauseous.

Your intentions for working with this medicine determine what method is best and where and how many points are used. Medical forms and waivers are required to be filled out and sent back to the practitioner at least a week prior to the ceremony in order to ensure the safety of participants.

Lauren Myers was certified by the International Association of Sapo Practitioners (The IASP https://www.theiasp.com/) in March 2021. Since then she has held kambo ceremonies for all those that have come to her for healing with this powerful and sacred medicine. All medicines offered by Lauren are ethically sourced and purchased from reputable, indigenous sources to support the areas they come from and the tribes that harvest them.
